The new GH model is an improved and authentic reproduction of the José

Ramírez studio model used by George Harrison during the recording of the

classic Beatles lm A Hard Day’s Night. The instrument has a high-grade

European spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood is used for the back and

sides. It boasts a very full-bodied, robust tone with very thick yet bright trebles

CENTENARIO - This guitar was built in commemoration of the rst centennial of

the Jose Ramirez rm which, you’ll recall, was founded in 1882. This is a limited

production guitar, made from only the nest materials. Features of this special

guitar include: A 664mm string length, red cedar top, Brazilian rosewood back

and sides, Cameroon ebony ngerboard and hand-engraved bronze and ivory

machine heads. (Each guitar has a different engraved design). Other standard

features are the Cuban mahogany puring, inlaid ivory headstock design, and

ELITE - This limited production model was developed in response to customers

who wanted similar features of the Centenario model, but at a more accessible

price. Features of this nylon-string model include: A choice of 664mm or 650mm

string length, red cedar top, Brazilian rosewood (Jacaranda) back and sides,

ebony ngerboard and special machine heads. As an option, you can also order

Since the Ramirez company was founded in 1882 by José Ramirez, the traditional knowledge

of building high quality guitars has been handed down from father to son. Ramirez created

guitars in his own personal style which still serves as a model for the construction of guitars

the world over. The most important breakthroughs were accomplished by José Ramirez

Ill, who created a series of decisive modications to the internal structure of the guitar. At

present, José Ramirez IV is in charge of the workshop and devotes his time to the design of

these instruments in collaboration with José Ramirez Ill. Each guitar that is released from

the workshop is subjected to his supervision before it reaches the hands of its future owner.

The name Flammang derives from Luxembourg, a grand duchy in Europe

bounded by Belgium, Germany and France. David Flammang, however, is not

from the grand duchy, himself, he’s now working in Greene, Iowa. “My guitars

are about balance, appearance and tone,” he modestly says. One of his guitars

was played by Donna Martin at the Lilith Fair performance and many are used by

singer-songwriters on the east coast. The Flammang brand name takes the form

of a lower case “f” logo on the headstock, simple yet elegant, understated, just

like his guitars, and inlaid in mother of pearl. Cedar Creek custom case included.
